Whether you are applying to Watson Burton as a legal or support employee, all of our departments are organised into supportive working teams. Our spacious open plan office design helps to foster communication between team members and across the wider firm.
Our legal departments are organised and headed by a partner with associate solicitors, assistant solicitors and trainees working together under the partners' close supervision. This organisational structure means that there is a clear framework of support operating throughout the firm and helps to relieve the pressure of a high workload to ensure we consistently meet our clients' deadlines.
We do not operate a culture of working long hours for the sake of appearances. Maintaining an effective work-life balance is important to the health and happiness of our employees. However, it is accepted that in the very nature of work as a solicitor, long hours of hard work are sometimes necessary in order to get the job done on time and on budget
